Dhrubo is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Dhaka University of Engineering & Technology. He has completed both his Bachelors and Masters in Chemical Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology. His previous research experience included working on multiple UGC granted projects focusing on varied fields like enzyme immobilization and CO2 sequestration and guiding UG thesis students. His present works mostly focus on biomass valorization through hydrothermal technology to recover essential nutrients as well as treatment of industrial effluents through activated carbon
