Istiaque Ahmed is currently working as an Assistant Professor of Architecture (On-leave) at Dhaka University of Engineering & Technology (DUET), Gazipur. After completing 5 years of professional B.Arch degree (1st in Merit) from Khulna University, Bangladesh Mr. Ahmed obtained his M.Sc with Merit from The Bartlett, University College London (UCL) under the Commonwealth Scholarship scheme. At present, Mr. Ahmed is pursuing Ph.D. in Architecture at Delft University of Technology (TU Delft) in the Netherlands. Mr. Ahmed was also a member of the Study and Design Team of ‘Arcadia Education Project’ by Saif Ul Haque Sthapati (SHS) which received the Aga Khan Award for Architecture in 2019. Istiaque Ahmed is affiliated with the Institute of Architects Bangladesh (IAB), Bangladesh Association of Commonwealth Scholars And Fellows (BACSAF), and Bangladesh UK Alumni Network (BUKAN).
