I received Ph.D. degree from RMIT University, Melbourne, Australia. I am the author or co-author of approximately 17 refereed journals and 4 conference papers. I am currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Dhaka University of Engineering & Technology (DUET), Gazipur, Bangladesh. My research interests include evolutionary computation, multimodal optimization (niching), swarm intelligence, math-heuristic methods for optimization. Eight Masters' students are currently working and one student got the M Sc. Engineering degree under my principal supervision.
