Khurshida Sharmin is currently working as an associate professor at the Mechanical engineering Department of Dhaka University of Engineering & Technology, Gazipur, Bangladesh. She researches in Mechanical engineering Department which covers ceramic processing, composite material and lithium ion battery. She graduated from Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology, with bachelors degree in Mechanical engineering in 2008. After graduating she joined at Dhaka University of Engineering & Technology, Gazipur, Bangladesh as a lecturer. She got her MSc from Tuskegee University, USA in Mechanical engineering and PhD from Louisiana State University, USA in Mechanical Engineering.
