Md. Motiur Rahman is serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Dhaka University of Engineering & Technology (DUET), Gazipur, Bangladesh. He received his master of science degree in Mathematics (Applied and Computational Mathematics) and completed his thesis in the field of water wave mechanics and coastal areas of Bangladesh, especially on wave energy dissipation in the surf zone from the University of Rajshahi, Rajshahi-6205, Bangladesh in 2017. Earlier, he received his B.Sc. in Mathematics from the University of Rajshahi, Rajshahi-6205, Bangladesh in 2016. He was born in Chapai Nawabganj and spent his childhood in his hometown.
