Mohammad Abdur Rouf, PhD

Mr. Mohammad Abdur Rouf has completed his Ph.D. from ICE, Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) which is a renowned institution in South Korea in 2014 under Embedded Computing Lab of CSE dept. of KAIST. He got his M.Sc. Engineering degree from Dept. of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) in the year 2006. He got his B.Sc. Engineering degree from the Department of Computer Science Engineering of Khulna University in the year 1999. He passed HSC from Dhaka College in 1994 and passed SSC in 1992. He joined in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering of erstwhile BIT, Dhaka (now Dhaka University of Engineering and Technology DUET) in the year 2000. Promoted to Assistant Professor in the Year 2004 and later promoted to Associate Professor in the same department on 2015. He promoted to the post of Professor in the year 2016. He published several articles in the international and national journal and conferences. He worked as the Head, Dept. of CSE, DUET during 2017 to 2019. He also worked as the Dean, Faculty of EEE, DUET during 2021 to 2023. He served as Director, Computer Center, DUET two times during 2015 to 2017 and 2021 to 2023 respectively. He was TPC Chair in the NCIM, 2025 and TPC member of different conferences and journals. He completed four projects as Project Director. During Ph.D. he served as TA and RA in KAIST during 2008 to 2014. The idea of Ph.D. is used in a national project of over several hundred thousand USD in KAIST.
