Md. Ramjan Ali is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Dhaka University of Engineering & Technology (DUET), Bangladesh, currently on study leave pursuing his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering at Iowa State University, USA. His doctoral research focuses on printed electronics and nanocomposite dielectric materials, particularly the development of low-loss, thermally stable printed dielectrics for high-frequency RF and microwave electronics and advanced electronic packaging applications using aerosol jet printing technology. He has extensive experience in advanced materials synthesis, processing, and characterization, including techniques such as scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), dielectric characterization, and thermal analysis. His research aims to enable reliable, high-performance materials and manufacturing solutions for next-generation electronic and communication systems. Prior to his doctoral studies, Mr. Ali served as an Assistant Professor at DUET, where he was actively involved in teaching undergraduate engineering courses and conducting funded research projects on battery materials, graphene-based nanomaterials, and sustainable nanocomposite coatings. His broader research interests include printed and flexible electronics, functional nanocomposites, energy storage materials, and advanced manufacturing technologies.
