I am Md. Shipon Aktar, currently serving as a Network Engineer at the ICT Cell of Dhaka University of Engineering & Technology, Gazipur, Bangladesh. I am responsible for the design, implementation, and management of enterprise-scale network and ICT infrastructure in support of academic and administrative operations. My technical expertise includes the configuration and administration of Fortinet FortiGate firewalls for advanced network security, policy enforcement, VPN services, and threat mitigation. I am experienced in virtualization technologies such as VMware and Proxmox for server consolidation, resource optimization, and high-availability system deployment. I also manage UniFi-based network environments for centralized wireless and wired network control, along with Windows Server administration for Active Directory services, user management, DNS, DHCP, and file services. I am actively involved in ensuring secure, stable, and scalable ICT services through continuous network monitoring, system optimization, and troubleshooting, contributing to the development of a resilient and modern digital infrastructure within the university.
