Dr. Md Shohidul Islam is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Dhaka University of Engineering & Technology (DUET), Gazipur, Bangladesh. He received the PhD degree in Computer Engineering at George Mason University, Virginia, USA in 2024. During the doctoral journey, he worked as a PhD Intern at the Pacific Northwest National Lab, Washington, USA and as a Graduate Research Fellow at the University of California, Riverside, USA. Prior to that, he received an MSc in Computer Engineering at the University of Ulsan, South Korea in 2012 and a BSc degree in Computer Science and Engineering at Rajshahi University of Engineering & Technology (RUET), Rajshahi, Bangladesh in 2007. His research focuses in the intersection of Computer Architecture, Machine Learning, and Security. As an outcome, his works appeared in the top-tier IEEE/ACM venues including HPCA, DAC, DATE, ICCAD, TC, TCAD HOST, ICCD, ISQED, and Springer Nature. Besides, his research once received the Best Paper Award and an Excellent Paper Award. Moreover, he also served as a reviewer of IEEE Transactions on Computer (TC), IEEE/ACM International Symposium on Quality Electronic Design (ISQED), and Scientific Reports (Nature).
