Shunila Binte Ahsan is an architect and lecturer at the Department of Architecture, Dhaka University of Engineering & Technology (DUET). She completed her Bachelor of Architecture from Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology (BUET) with a strong academic record, earning multiple merit scholarships. Passionate about design innovation, she has gained international recognition by winning the ISONATION Competition by MOOOarch and securing the Silver Award in the Asian Young Designer Award by Nippon Paint. Shunila has worked on diverse projects ranging from sustainable community development to future workplace concepts, and her work has been shortlisted in global platforms such as the Fentress Global Challenge. She has professional experience through her internship at HOUT Architecture in Toronto, where she worked on residential design, 3D modeling, and presentation development. Her interests lie in computer-aided design, environmental simulation, and socially responsive masterplanning. As a creative and dedicated educator, she has also taught at child art organisations, nurturing young minds in visual arts. With strong technical skills in Rhino, Grasshopper, AutoCAD, Photoshop, and BIM tools, Shunila continues to explore design solutions that blend innovation, sustainability, and human experience.
