Md. Tareq Mahmud (Graduate Student Member, IEEE) received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in engineering from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Dhaka University of Engineering and Technology, Gazipur, Bangladesh, in 2015 and 2019, respectively. From 2015 to 2017, he worked as a Lecturer with the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Dhaka International University, Bangladesh. He worked as an Assistant Maintenance Engineer (AME) with the ICT Infrastructure Maintenance and Management Department, Bangladesh Bank (Central Bank of Bangladesh). He is currently working as an Assistant Professor with the Institute of Information and Communication Technology (IICT), Dhaka University of Engineering and Technology. His research interests include MAC layer protocols of wireless emerging networks, Cross-layer design and optimization in wireless cooperative relay networks, Next-generation wireless networks (6G), Machine learning in future wireless communications, the Internet of Things (IoT), and Cloud & Edge computing. He is a member of the Institute of Engineers, Bangladesh (IEB). He is a Reviewer of IEEE Access journal.
