I am Dr. Mohammad Washim Dewan, currently working as a Professor in the Mechanical Engineering Department and on additional charge as Head, Food Engineering Department and additional director, P&D, DUET, Gazipur. I have completed my PhD in mechanical Engineering from Louisiana State University, USA; M.Sc. in mechanical engineering from Tuskegee University, USA; and B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from BUET, Bangladesh. Previously, I have worked as an additional director of IQAC, DUET, and assistant provost of SM Hall, DUET. I have also been involved in national and international research projects and have published in prestigious journals and conferences. I am also actively involved with consultancy services with different private and public organizations.
