Amit Sutradhar completed his B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET) in March 2017. He began his academic career in January 2018 as a Lecturer in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Dhaka University of Engineering & Technology (DUET), Gazipur, where he also pursued his M.Sc. In April 2021, he was promoted to Assistant Professor. He is currently on study leave to pursue a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering at Texas A&M University, College Station, USA. His research interests include solid mechanics, engineering design, and machine learning.
