Md. Faruque Hossain completed his B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Dhaka University of Engineering and Technology (DUET), securing first position in both degrees with CGPAs of 3.91/4.00 (June 2023) and 4.00/4.00 (May 2025), respectively. During his undergraduate studies, he received several academic distinctions, including the Dean’s Award, University Merit Scholarship, and University Grants Commission (UGC) Merit Scholarship. He was also actively involved in the DUET CR Forum. He is currently serving as a Lecturer in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at DUET since February 2026. Prior to this, he worked as a Lecturer in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Sonargaon University, Dhaka. His research interests include Composite Materials, Biomaterials, Energy Storage Materials, Li-ion Batteries, Electrolyte Membranes, and Fracture Mechanics.
