Md. Ariful Islam has been serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at Dhaka University of Engineering & Technology, Gazipur Since 2020. Before working as Assistant Professor, Mr. Ariful served as a Lecturer in the same Department and University. After graduating in Civil Engineering with honors (1st position) on 06 November, 2016 from Dhaka University of Engineering & Technology, Gazipur, he joined as a lecturer at the end of 2016 in same department at same University. He has been awarded by the Prime Minister Gold Medal from the Honorable Prime Minister of Bangladesh and the University Gold Medal from the Chancellor and the Honorable President of Bangladesh for his undergraduate academic record. He is from Sirajganj District of Rajshahi division who likes to travel, Playing badminton, reading books and watching movies. His goal is to serve the nation and world as an academician and researcher.
