Md. Jahirul Islam is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Dhaka University of Engineering & Technology (DUET), Gazipur. He received his Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree and Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Chemical Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). His research interest lies in the intersection sustainable energy and environment. Prior to his academic career, he worked as a Process Engineer at Petromax Refinery Limited.
