Md. Kawser Ali is a Lecturer in the Institute of Energy Engineering under the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at Dhaka University of Engineering & Technology (DUET), Gazipur, where he joined in February 2026. He completed his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 2022 and Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 2025. He demonstrated outstanding academic excellence by securing First Class First position in both his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees. In recognition of his excellent academic performance during his undergraduate studies, he was awarded the Dean’s Award. Prior to joining DUET, Mr. Ali gained both academic and industrial experience. He served as a Lecturer at Anwer Khan Modern University, Dhaka, for six months. He also worked as an Assistant Engineer at West Zone Power Distribution Company Limited (WZPDCL) for over two years, where he was involved in practical engineering operations in the power and energy sector. His research interests lie in the field of energy, with particular emphasis on photovoltaic systems, wind energy technology, and solar–wind hybrid energy systems. He is especially interested in developing sustainable and efficient renewable energy solutions to address modern energy challenges.
