I am currently working as an Associate Professor of Civil Engineering at DUET, Gazipur. My teaching profession started in June 2012 as a Lecturer of Civil Engineering at DUET, and since then I have dedicated myself to acquiring knowledge that helps me concentrate my efforts to educate my students with the state of the art knowledge of structural engineering. My research primarily focuses on developing tools and knowledge that not only address community resilience against extreme events (earthquake and wind) but also addressing the pressing need of sustainability (related to climate change). I am fully motivated to train and educate the next generations of engineers with the state of the art knowledge on structural engineering to build the infrastructures (buildings, bridges etc.) sustainably.
