Dr. Md. Arifur Rahman received his BSc degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), Dhaka, Bangladesh in October 2009. He completed his Ph.D. degree from department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, National University of Singapore, Singapore. He was attached with the Mechatronics and Automation Lab from January 2012 to March 2016. His current research interests include the design and control of high precision servo system with the application to hard disk drive and various modern control design with the applications to emerging applications. His areas of focus are resonance compensation and hysteresis control of high precision servo systems.
