Engr. Md. Selim Reza is serving as the Assistant Director (Planning & Development) at Dhaka University of Engineering & Technology (DUET), Gazipur. He earned his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Civil Engineering from Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET) in 2009 and 2014, respectively, and later completed a Diploma in Development Planning from the National Academy for Planning and Development (NAPD), Dhaka in 2020. With more than a decade of experience in higher education planning, project management, and research coordination, he has played key roles in several institutional development initiatives, including the DUET-NICHE Project and HEQEP programs. His professional expertise spans project planning and management, sustainable procurement, contract management, and development economics. Before becoming Assistant Director, he served as Planning & Development Officer at DUET and contributed as Project Officer & Research Coordinator in multiple capacity-building projects. Known for his commitment to academic development and infrastructure planning, Engr. Reza continues to contribute to DUET’s growth as a leading engineering university in Bangladesh.
