Md. Mozammel Hoque, PhD

I completed my Ph.D. in Civil Engineering with a specialisation in Structural Engineering from Saitama University, Japan, in 2005. During my doctoral studies, I focused on advanced structural analysis and design, developing a strong foundation in research methodologies and innovative engineering solutions. My Ph.D. work enriched my understanding of structural behaviour and contributed to my broader expertise in civil engineering. Prior to that, I earned my M.Sc. in Engineering (Geotechnical Engineering) from the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) in 2001. My master's studies allowed me to gain in-depth knowledge of soil mechanics, foundation engineering, and geotechnical investigation techniques. This specialisation strengthened my analytical abilities and enhanced my capability to work on complex ground-related engineering challenges. I completed my B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from BUET in 1996, where I built my core engineering knowledge and skills. My undergraduate training covered a wide range of civil engineering disciplines, including structural, geotechnical, environmental, and transportation engineering.
