Md. Rabiul Islam is currently serving as an assistant professor at the Institute of Water and Environment (IWE), Dhaka University of Engineering & Technology (DUET), Gazipur, Bangladesh. He received his MSc degree (by research) in the field of water resources engineering from the University of Malaya (UM), Malaysia, in 2018. He completed his B.Sc. degree in civil engineering in 2012 from the Dhaka University of Engineering & Technology (DUET), Gazipur, Bangladesh. His research interests include environmental hydrology and modeling, climate change modeling, land use change, and soil erosion modeling. He has published a good number of papers in ISI-indexed journals and conferences. He has served as a reviewer for several reputed international journals. He is a member of different national and international organizations.
