Dr. Ruma is a Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) at Dhaka University of Engineering & Technology (DUET), Gazipur, Bangladesh. Currently, she is Dean of Faculty of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) in the same university. She earned her B.Sc. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Dhaka University of Engineering & Technology (DUET), Gazipur in 2005, followed by an M.Sc. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), Dhaka in 2008. She completed her Ph.D degree from Kumamoto University, Japan, in 2014. Dr. Ruma’s research interests span High-Voltage Discharge Plasma, Renewable Energy Systems, and Power Electronics. She has contributed extensively to academic research, teaching, and innovation within these fields. Her work continues to support advancements in sustainable energy technologies and emerging plasma-based applications
