Dr. Ruma is a Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) at Dhaka University of Engineering & Technology (DUET), Gazipur, Bangladesh. She earned her B.Sc. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from DUET in 2005, followed by an M.Sc. from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), Dhaka in 2008. She completed her Ph.D at Kumamoto University, Japan, in 2014. Dr. Ruma’s research interests span High-Voltage Discharge Plasma, Renewable Energy Systems, and Power Electronics. She has contributed extensively to academic research, teaching, and innovation within these fields. Her work continues to support advancements in sustainable energy technologies and emerging plasma-based applications
