I am Dr. Sanzida Rahman, and I have been teaching at Dhaka University of Engineering and Technology (DUET), Gazipur-1707, for the past 16 years. I began my career at DUET as a Lecturer in English demonstrating strong dedication to teaching and scholarly development from the very beginning. Over the years, I was subsequently promoted to Assistant Professor and later to Associate Professor, continuing my professional journey in the same institution. Throughout my career, I have remained committed to fostering effective communication skills among engineering students and contributing to the academic growth of the institution. I have continually strengthened my academic expertise through my PhD studies, where I was engaged in extensive research, academic writing, conference participation, and scholarly collaboration. My doctoral pursuits have deepened my interest in language, literature, communication skills, and interdisciplinary studies, allowing me to contribute meaningfully to both teaching and academic discourse within the university. I have also taken part in seminars, workshops, and training programs related to research methodology, linguistics, pedagogy, and higher education development. Beyond my academic achievements, I am actively involved in interpersonal, social, and cultural activities within the DUET community. I am contributing to various cultural programs, language clubs, and university events that encourage creativity, cultural awareness, and communication skills among students. With a strong foundation in teaching, research, and community engagement, I strive to inspire my students and colleagues through my dedication, professionalism, and passion for education.
