Shohel Rana is currently serving as a Lecturer in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Dhaka University of Engineering & Technology (DUET), Gazipur, Bangladesh. He is presently pursuing his M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, with a specialization in Materials Science, at DUET, a program he began in 2025. He completed his B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from DUET in 2025, graduating with first class. His research interests include computational materials science, high-entropy alloys, and renewable energy sources. He is dedicated to advancing the field of mechanical engineering through innovative research, academic excellence, and collaboration. With a strong focus on modern engineering challenges, he aims to contribute to the development of advanced materials and sustainable energy solutions. In addition to his academic and research interests, he is passionate about teaching, mentoring students, and supporting them in their undergraduate engineering projects. As a lecturer, he has taught several courses, including Engineering Mechanics, Computer-Aided Drawing, and Engineering Drawing.
